Meet the team

Laura

Laura qualified as a primary school teacher in 2010 and worked in a small primary school for 6 years where she found her love for teaching small groups teaching Key Stage 2 children. Laura then moved to a larger school and extended her experience across Key Stage 1 and Early Years Foundation Stage. During Laura’s time here she worked alongside ‘White Rose Maths’ to support them in their new writing scheme of learning (you may recognise White Rose Maths from the many maths videos they created during lockdown) Laura also assessed reading across the school and ran KS2 SATS intervention groups

During maternity leave with her second child Laura began tutoring her first students privately, many of whom were siblings of her original classroom students. It was here that Laura first saw the impact and benefit that she could have on a child’s confidence and education by offering them private tutoring. Laura quickly received excellent feedback and saw a huge rise in demand for her services. Leapin2learning was born! Since then Laura has developed the business by providing further tuition services and developing a team of fully qualified and experienced tutors to serve even more families, sharing her ethos of child centric learning.
