Sarah

Sarah qualified as a teacher in 2016 and has spent the past 5 years gaining a wealth of experience teaching in primary schools across West and North Yorkshire. She has taught across all year groups in KS2 giving her a really good knowledge of the progression of skills in KS2. Due to the demographic of her most recent school, Sarah has experience of working with children with English as an additional language. Sarah has recently secured a job working as a tutor for White Rose Maths and looks forward to applying her skills within this new context.

Sarah’s favourite subject is Science. She is leader of Science in her school and enjoys how practical the learning can be. She appreciates how some children learn in a ‘hands on’ manner and really enjoys experiential learning. Sarah has planned and led whole school science weeks at her school and has worked with children of all primary ages during these times.  

Sarah loves being creative and likes making learning fun and different. She likes to explore different ways of learning to ensure her students reach their potential and enjoy learning.
