Introducing our services

Leap in2 Learning serves children that would like, or need, a boost to their education to top up what the school curriculum provides. Having been teachers ourselves for many years, we know how hard the school staff work to provide excellent education to children nationwide. That being said, with ever-growing class sizes and a varied demand of needs for each child there are many reasons why you may be considering a tutor. We assist your child to achieve their full potential, building their self esteem, confidence and essential skills across Maths and English, making their education both a pleasure as well as beneficial. You will receive a personal service from fully qualified, caring tutors who will help your child love their lessons with Leap in2 Learning.

One to One

1-2-1 tutoring sessions provide individualised support from a qualified, experienced teacher. This enables your child to quickly build a strong positive relationship with their tutor and giving them a safe space to ask questions, build confidence and be appropriately challenged at their individual pace.

One to Two

1-2-2 tutoring sessions allow children to learn alongside a child of similar ability of their own. They benefit from high quality teaching whilst also having opportunity for peer discussion and feedback. This is a great way of building relationships, confidence and making accelerated progress.

Small Group

Small group tuition creates a safe environment where children are able to collaborate and discuss their learning with others. In addition they are benefitting from direct support from a fully qualified teacher who is able to challenge, extend and support each child at their own level. An excellent value for money option.

Our Happy Clients!

Laura had a calm, understanding, enthusiastic and challenging manner which was fundamental in my daughter passing all her KS2 SATs. Laura made the sessions exciting and used accessible resources. Perhaps most important of all, Laura made my daughter believe that she could achieve and she did. Thank you Laura

Cheryl – Year 6 parent

Our daughter who has dyslexia and really struggled with numbers, was at an all time low with her confidence in maths and nothing we did at home helped. Laura was amazing! She has so much patience, understanding and has a wonderful way of explaining maths to children that makes learning fun. Our daughter now attends high school and although she no longer needs Laura’s help, she has gained so much more confidence to work well within her maths lessons and is not afraid of numbers anymore. We would highly recommend Laura’s tutoring services.

Elaine – Tutored through KS2

Laura has been working with my daughter for a few months now and has helped her to grow in confidence a great deal in a short time. She looks forward to every session as Laura has such enthusiasm and patience in her teaching, and makes every session fun and rewarding. Thank you!

Victoria – Year 4 parent

Frequently asked questions

Most sessions run every day after school / in the evening and on Saturdays. If you are home schooling and would be interested in daytime tuition sessions please do contact us to discuss your personal requirements. We aim to be as flexible as possible to suit your circumstances.
Tuition is an important commitment and in order for it to be effective it does need to be consistent, therefore, we do continue sessions throughout the school holidays. This means we can avoid the 'summer slide' (the academic decline that can occur during the summer holidays). We do however recognise that the children's routines may change over school holidays and ask you to discuss with your child's tutor if you would like to alter the time or day of the week you would like the sessions to run. If you are going away on a family holiday we do not charge you provided you have given your tutor a minimum of four weeks notice.
If you are opting for face to face sessions one way to do this is to find your own 'study buddy' or small group. This could be a friend or classmate. Alternatively, we can match you with another child of a similar ability who is on our waiting list. We can move forward with online sessions in this way. Many of our students have become great friends in this way.
Tuition sessions are paid for by the 1st of each month and should be paid for by BACS transfer. We will provide you with an invoice in good time before your payment is due.
Please do contact us so that we may discuss your individual requirements. We want to be as flexible as possible so that tuition works well for your personal circumstances.
Unfortunately missed sessions due to illness cannot be refunded. We are unable to fill sessions at short notice and your tutor will have scheduled your child's tuition into their workload. However, if you do have a family emergency that is unavoidable please do contact us at your earliest convenience, fees may be waived at our discretion.
Please visit the 'About our services' page for more information.
